Our Work
Connection and Networking
We strive to connect California’s agroforestry community for more effective and efficient collaboration on agroforestry-related projects. We meet quarterly to get to know each other and each other’s work. By simply knowing who else is working in the realm of agroforestry, we can increase coordination, communication, and information sharing.

Education and Outreach
We aim to increase awareness and understanding of agroforestry through educational events. We host monthly webinars during our meetings, and we also put on farmer trainings, train-the-trainer trainings, webinars, and field days. Continuing education credits are available for those who participate in educational workshops, and anyone can get involved.
Research
We partner with researchers across California and the West Coast to identify agroforestry-related research gaps, orchestrate research projects, and identify best-practices for California agroforestry. We also work to convey these research findings and needs to state and federal policy makers.

Demonstration Sites
We are working with our partners at the University of California Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program to expand the network of high-quality agroforestry demonstration sites within California for use as both sites for educational tours and also for research.
We partner with the California Farm Demonstration Network to showcase agroforestry demonstration and research farms throughout the state.
